June 2020 was not a good time to be hosting a flagship global conference. That's the position Anaplan found itself in when they came to Certain.
Anaplan’s annual Connected Planning Experience (CPX) conference was just months away.
The flagship conference plays a strategic role for the company. Bringing together leaders in their industry to share ideas, plans, and strategies for the Content Planning industry.

We deployed Certain Event Management Technology to power Digital CPX, a brand new conference providing 7 days of live and on-demand content, to help Anaplan reach their goals and their market.
Attendee Management: More than 7,400 registrations came in through our dynamic website attendee management system, sorting them into over 240 individual sessions. Anaplan used our technology to tailor the event experience based on each attendee type.
Speaker Management: Handling speakers and submissions for over 240 sessions and 20 hours was a snap through our speaker portal.
Content Management: Using Certain’s digital content and speaker hub, Anaplan plugged into a system giving attendees, speakers, and show managers direct access to live and on-demand sessions and content
Using Event Management Technology from Certain, Anaplan was able to meet their goal and deliver over 240 sessions and 20+ hours of technical content, customer stories, and tips for Connected Planning success.
Using Certain’s real-time data platform, Anaplan was able to gather valuable attendee engagement data including session attendance and live versus on-demand viewing.
By utilizing our native integrations with Marketo, attendee data captured was synchronized to trigger highly targeted marketing campaigns – offering relevant and timely follow-up with attendees throughout the event.
Certain powered more than 7,400 registrations through our dynamic website and registration experience.
Attendees had access to over 200 sessions through Certain’s digital content hub.
